Arcadia, Calif., October 1, 2008 – Tours4Fun has launched an international section to its website and is now offering worldwide tour packages to all of its visitors. The new tours will be provided by the Globus family brand, a leader in the global tour market.
Traveler’s will have the ability to visit countries in Asia, Europe, Australia & New Zealand, Africa, South & Central America and the Middle East, in addition to the current North American destinations already active on the site.
“We wanted to offer our customers more options when it comes to travel and tourism.” says Kevin Du, co-founder of Tours4Fun. “We’re aware that the global tourism landscape is ever-expanding, and we would love to be a part of that growth.”
Although high oil prices and a slumping economy have threatened the global travel industry in recent months, online booking numbers paint a different picture. According to eMarketer the amount of online travel reservations is expected to reach 105 billion this year, up 12% compared to 2007.
The recent addition of international tours marks a milestone for the Tours4Fun site which was launched just under 3 years ago. With its recent expansion into world travel, Tours4Fun is poised to increase its share of the global travel market into 2009 and beyond.
